The book has information on ribbon types and tools. Unfortunately there are no directions on working with ribbon. There are a multitude of projects that are boring and, in my opinion, ugly.
This was a waste of my money. One of the projects directed one to lay 7 pieces of ribbon crosswise over your tablecloth and adhere them with double sided tape. Another project is a sachet and you are told how to cut the wide ribbon and sew it together. But the best are the following directions for the decorative ribbons added to the top to drape down the sides of the sachet.
Step 4. Cut small lengths of the 1/4 inch wide silk or satin ribbon, tie a decorative knot in one endof each piece, and attach them to the top of the sachet. Cover the small ribbon lengths with a simple ribbon flower (see pages 19-20 for ideas).
No direction on how to attach the ribbons to the ribbon sachet and the directions for making the flower are as pathetic. There are no step by step photos, just some black ink sketches.
