This album is magnificent, Corrinne May paints these songs with her heart and soul, the lyrics are haunting; don't try to compare this music to anything because it is strong, pure, spiritual, and unique.

The cd is packaged in digipac form containing a nice photo of the artist,

and more importantly, all the lyrics to her songs are included in one of the sleeves.

If you're searching for an answer, check out this album, I got the feeling

I was listening to the artist and she was playing just for me.. once I listened to the first song, "Love Song For #1, I was hooked.. such a beautiful album.. then came "On The Side Of Me", and "Five Loaves and Two Fishes", followed closly by the title track, "Beautiful Seed" in which Corrinne May proclaims, "you can fill the darkness with one ray of light"

So can this album!! Well Done, Corrinne May!!

Bravo, great voice and singing - Corinne May is a fine singer, her voice is beautiful, I chose her albums to accompany my recent Singapore photos on a souvenir DVD

I purchased this cd upon Amazon's recommendation as being similar to Vienna Teng. I gave a few samples a quick listen online, thought they sounded ok, and within a week had it in my hands. Let's cut to the chase. To be brutally honest, I found the songs dull and aimless. The painfully simple lyrics seemed to come straight from the realm of country music. If you like Vienna Teng, and are looking for more like her, this isn't the place to look.

First of all, I'm a harsh critic (anyone can tell you that) and this is definitely a treasure. The orchestration is nice, the piano is always beautiful, her voice is a gem, and the lyrics are refreshing and hopeful. This is a seed that will bear much fruit.
