Beautiful Soft Mink Solid Black Blanket Queen or Full Bed

Having first purchased a mink blanket in Korea in the 1980s, I was looking forward to the warmth and comfort I had known. This mink blanket is like 1/5 the thickness of the one I owned before. This item is more to be compared to a sheet then any kind of blanket let alone a mink blanket.

It's a cheap off purple velvety thing that was supposed to resemble black mink and it doesn't. I realize that for $40 and judging by the picture it wouldn't actually be mink fur. I at least expected some distant resemblance of faux fur. At the very least I expected something black and soft, it was neither black nor soft.

This blanket is nice and more plush than my microfiber blankets. Honestly, when I first pulled it out of it's clear plastic cover, I felt ripped off. It looked weird. HOWEVER, I washed it, per instructions, added fabric softener, and dried it on the low setting. The blanket looked completely different. One side has the mink look and the other side is not so mink. It makes a great recliner cover, too. This was a bargain.

I ordered this blanket Very close to Christmas. It shipped immediately and I had it in time to put under the tree. When it arrived I was not disappointed, it is a very heavy, warm, and soft blanket. I am very happy with my experience!

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. THIS BLANKET IS NOT MINK!!! THE BLANKET IS WAY SMALLER AND THINNER THAN EXPECTED TO BE FOR A "QUEEN OR FULL SIZE" AND IT IS MORE OF A DEEP BLUE THAN BLACK.

well it was bought for me as a birthday present and i absoultly love it..... it does come out of the packing looking blue but after a wash and a hanging it out it totally looks different... defiently perfect for cold weather..... its kept me warm so far.... my husband keeps the house so cold and this is exactly the blanket that works for my cold atmosphere

I purchased this for my 15 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She was delighted with the quality. It is so soft, she now uses it as a bottom sheet on her bed. She says it is like sleeping on a soft cloud!

see my customer image of the blanket right out of the box, it does seem navy blue/gray but I have not washed it yet and given amazon review accuracy I should expect it to be black black after the first wash. Honestly it doesn't matter - it's very soft and comfortable, I've ditched my other blankets, and it is good for warmer or more chilly weather. It's even nice to curl up watching a movie or something. Good buy - and if you have kitties they will spend hours kneading on it, lol. Will update review and photo after wash.

This blanket came early and was shipped nice and packed. It is a true Queen size and comfy.No bad smell as some reviews stated.
My wife and I are very happy with it.

very warm, very soft, heavy, very good looking blanket, all around its a pretty good cover i reall enjoy it
