We have a wonderful new tree to offer this year. The Dwarf Weeping Cherry is a gorgeous majestic little tree.
It announces that spring has begun when it bursts into bloom in early spring. The Weeping Cherry has a medium growth rate arching with its many weeping stems. It prefers moist, well drained soils of average fertility and does well in full sun. It is also adaptable to poor soils, compacted soils, dry soils, and heat. It will just about grow anywhere after you get it started in your yard.
The Weeping cherry will grow to approximately 10 feet at maturity with long weeping branches that will quickly grow to the ground. Keep it pruned to the height you want it and it will thrive.
It is the most sought after tree in late winter or early spring when the pink flowers emerge before the foliage emerges on pendulous branches. Fall color is a mixture of green, chartreuse, and yellow. Your tree will be 2-3 feet tall . We ship US Priority Mail with the tree packed in moist newspaper to keep it from drying during shipping. It took a very long time for this this tree to arrive. It arrived very limp and I wasn't sure if it would make it. I have planted it and watched it closely. It is alive and a new sprout just appeared. I think she's gonna make it! :)

The tree came with almost no roots and still shows no sign of life (after weeks of being in the ground). Brown revealed under the bark. Might have been my mistake for ordering so late in the season, but still a disappointment.
