Great Quality and CHEAP!, May 26, 2000

I thought this was a nice collection of Scandinavia's high point. I did feel they could have added Alfven's Sweedish Rhapsody and Nielsen's Negro Dance from Alladin. Most of the music could be described as beautiful. The only 'uppidy' piece would be from the Holberg Suite. The Swan piece is very soft and enchanting. Sinding's Rustle of Spring is nicely played on the piano. The Rustle of Sping and Last Spring both appear in the classic movie 'Intermezzo' which I highly recommend. This CD qualifies as average among my CD collection.
