As a mother of a 3 1/2 year old little girl, I'm happy to have the excuse to visit many of my favorite Disney stories under the guise of sharing them with my daughter! I particulary love Beauty and the Beast because of it's focus on internal goodness vs. external beauty. This board book tells the story in an abreviated fashion without losing the mains elements of the moral. Perfect for reading to a toddler with a very short attention span! My reason for giving it 4 vs. 5 stars was that one or two of the scenes depicted were in dark colors with a very subdued background...not very eye catching or interesting to a toddler. My little girl always seems to lose interest during these pages and I have to read them quickly to get to the next brightly colored and more "interesting" pages. Other than that we love the story and find this is a perfect version for the age market.

This is not a colouring book....not sure what the other reviews are talking about. I bought it knowing it was a great disney book for my toddler. She absolutely loves this book, she has almost all the disney books in this style.

Pages are very colorful, little girls into the princess thing will like this book. It too was much smaller than I had anticipated, about 4 x 6.

This is a very cute coloring book and my toddler liked it a lot. :)

I wasnt sure what I was getting exactly from the description. Although it is a nice coloring book it wasnt quite what I expected. Kids will love it though
