5.0 out of 5 stars True love endures even in death., April 18, 2001
This review is from: Beauty and the Beast: Though Lovers Be Lost [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I have always enjoyed watching this series and have almost all the episodes on tape. Though Lovers Be Lost for me is one of the best. I highly recommend it. I would love to get in contact with anyone who has tapes of this series, or good copies, that I might purchase, as I missed some critical ones. Such as "Pure and Faithful Knight, Ceremony of Innocence, A Time to Heal. I have the episodes after A Time to Heal, including the Invictus through the ending and finding of Vincent's son.

From a religious symbolic point of view, Vincent can be seen as a sort of Christ figure in some instances. This whole series is extremely rich in symbolism beyond the obvious interplay of characters. It was amazing what I gleaned when watching other episodes such as "Bless this Child, where the "Women at the Well,(getting the water) meets Vincent and really "sees" him for the first time. It wasn't until after I finished my Masters in Transpersonal Psychology, that I viewed the series again using it in a workshop seminar. I would love to share this with those who might be interested. I am definitely a real fan.

4.0 out of 5 stars More, More, More, February 3, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Beauty and the Beast: Though Lovers Be Lost [VHS] (VHS Tape)
While I agree this episode in itself is quite dramatic & touching, I would have prefered the series continue with the story-line with which it began, instead of the ending which was written. And also would've prefered re-casting of the Catherine character. Like many other fans, I would like to see season II available on video at least, but would truly love to have the series in its entirety available on DVD. Furthermore, fans still long to see a tv movie or mini-series re-uniting the original classic cast. - The series as a whole is fantasy/romance at its zenith.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beauty & The Beast-Though Lovers Be Lost, June 23, 2000
This review is from: Beauty and the Beast: Though Lovers Be Lost [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I love all of the Beauty & The Beast episodes from the TV series. I have most on VHS. To Peggy Hendershot, I may have the ones you are looking for. I tried to never miss an episode!
