The Best Gift to Give A Friend,
By Linda R. Hodsdon (Tacoma, WA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Beauty and Cancer: Looking and Feeling Your Best (Paperback)
I have given this book to many friends before undergoing chemotherapy and it has helped them tremendously in choosing a wig at the right time, what to expect when their skin and nails change, etc. The author's philosophy, from her own personal experience, is that if you look better, you feel better. This has proved true with everyone I've talked to who has read the book. Another friend reluctantly took the book and after reading it wanted to give it to all her friends undergoing the same thing.
