they say that there are two kinds of books, the books of the day and the books of all times. This is one of the latter. The immortal words of Charles White have changed my life. Not a year goes by in which my fingers don't itch to pick up this old friend and thumb through it's familiar pages, enjoying the wisdom therin.
It was also an excellent reference source. It was well researched, concise and written elegently. Dr. White is a giant in his field and I also heard that he ran around the world. I can't verify this fact because I wasn't there but my friend Hugh has a T-shirt supporting this claim. |
