Jeffree Star, a notorious dragqueen pin-up model turned pop star brings his...err her first full length album to the market. I would describe the music on this album kinda like a mixed cocktail. Basicly it's two parts rock, three parts techno, and there's even a splash of glam and punk. Some call this music "electroclash" other's call it "electro-rock"..whatever it is, it's decent party music. Stylish, hoaky, explicit, perky, gay (in an evil fun crossdressing kinda way) music. It's not amazing but it doesn't strike out either. It's decent. Check it out. For fans of Hmmm...I dunno...WILLIAM CONTROL, THE FAINT, PEACHES, GLAMPIRE, and LORDS OF ACID.

I came across Jeffree on myspace one day and listened to some of the tracks on his site. the day the album came out i bought it.
I havent heard anything this good in a long time! Great techno beats with fun lyrics, makes you wanna get up and dance! I really cannot get this album out of my cd player and its on heavy rotation on my ipod!
favorites are Louis vuitton body bag, prisoner, get away with murder and b**** please.

I bought the album on iTunes and I like it. Beauty Killer and Get Physical have some pretty catchy lyrics in them, and there are only a few filler songs. Pretty good!

So I was in my local Hot Topic when I glanced at the cover of "Beauty Killer". I was having an off month musically so I popped the headset on and scanned the discs barcode into the listening station...the rest is a blur. From the first snippet og "getting Away With Murder" To the attitude of Bitch, Please, and to the end of the album I was smiling and gettin' my attitude ON! So I bought it, rocked it in my truck and then uploaded it to my iPod where it is in HEAVY rotation! It's a fun new album with some bite and some bitchiness...LOVES IT! The cool thing with the Hot Topic version is that it has 3 bonus tracks, including my personal favorite "God Hates Your Outfit"! So if you like Jeffree Star and like some bang for your buck, go out and get the special edition for the same price as this one!

I don't know.. if your into flaming conversations converted to lyrics this might a album for you. I thought it was exciting at first. But it got old pretty quick.
Sorry for my review, it's what I think.

Where to start...I have no idea. I've been in love with Jeffree since his single Heart Surgery Isn't That Bad... debuted on his Myspace page. Beauty Killer is FAR from those days (in a good way). The only songs that seem to be fillers are "Get Physical" and "Fresh Meat". They're good, but not my first choice of listening to when my iPod is playing. I'd still give it a 5 star rating cause I still like them. The one song I can't stand is the remake of Lollipop Luxury...this time it's featuring Nicki Minaj. The original version, I LOVED! I just want to clarify that I do like Nicki (now, after her Pink Friday album came out) *saves me from being bombarded with people thinking I hate her. But in this Lollipop Luxury, she sounds just as irritating as the other songs she has been featured in BEFORE Pink Friday was released. Unless you like her voice sounding that annoying, it's pretty much a skip over track (this is the one I REALLY wish "Blush" had replaced this track, instead of being shoved onto a B-Side of the album along with the Morgan Page Vox Edit remake of Prisoner).
Also, spend the extra few bucks to get the Bonus Track edition because the bonus tracks are sah-weet! In my opinion, if there is 1 bad song on a 12 track album, 15 if you have the amazing Bonus Track edition, then the album is AMAZING!
iTunes considers Beauty Killer under the "Alternative" genre..personally, I think it isn't because when I think of Alternative I think of The Limousines, Green Day, etc. I think that Beauty Killer is more of the genres of Electronica, Dance, and/or Electro-Pop.
If you have listened to his EPs released before this album, and weren't ecstatic, trust me, give this album a try. It's much different than those records :)

beauty killer is a raging power of good techno beats,interlaced brilliantly with some toned down punk attitudes.
jeffree is a bad@#$ with incredible insights into beauty,truths,and mistaken realities by others.an identity of his own creation,sets him apart from the norm,and he will make you think,while being embraced by this "killer" cd.
he breaks all the rules on BK,and his infectious lyrical content,and musical tapestries,just invade your privacy and brings to the surface your innermost thoughts ,desires ,and will break your own barriers.
this reviewer can not find a weak spot on this massive offering.

This CD is amazing. Absolutely amazing. One of the best albums in a long time. His first 2 EP's are great, but I wasn't prepared for this. If you love great, high energy, fun music... buy this. You won't be disappointed.

I purchased the CD for my daughter as a gift. She is a big fan and loved the CD.

Nobody keeps listening to this album over and over again. It makes you laugh at first, and serves the minimum entertainment...but overall, it's hardly a good album.
