Worth more than platinum, even in the current rare-metals market,

This, tied with Slap-Happy, is my favorite L7 album. I dont think there is another band in the world that has had the comic sense of L7, which includes their musical talents and playing off of musical cliches: take the BTO "Takin Care of Business" musical pun from "Masses are Asses"..."the masses are asses, everyday. The masses are asses, in everyway. Woo-Hoo."
I cant think of L7 without thinking of the British novelist Fay Weldon (The Life and Loves of a She-Devil, Shrapnel Academy, Cloning of Joanna May): they each have a uniquely comic and critical view of the world.

"Must Have More" L7.,

I gotta say, I thought the 3 albums before this were so great, they couldn't do it again. I was wrong. This disc is just as good as the ones before it, and probably most like "Hungry For Stink". Almost every track is sweet, and typical "L7", so I won't list them off. The rocking and subject matter are what you would expect from them. What I'm most amazed at, is how much these chicks rock, yet they never got more popular than they did in the "Bricks Are Heavy" era. But I guess they said it best, the "Masses Are Asses". Maybe they'll release a collection soon.

This really is the best I've heard from L7. Not enough slow to drag you down, but enough fast to slap you round. L7 is a fabulous band, I always think of 7 Year B$tch when I think about these gals. Both have made an upfront, gutsy, feminine burst of violence seem very likely. I love this album. Buy it.

Fall to your knees and worship L7!,

I have to admit that when I first bought this album, I went back to listening to 'Bricks are Heavy' pretty quickly. It just didn't do much for me at first. How stupid I was in my ignorant youth. This has become one of my favorite CDs of all time, not just L7. Favorite tunes are 'I Need', 'Drama', 'Off the Wagon', and the last song, forget the 3 names offhand, but you know what song I'm talking about (ILOVEYOUILOVEYOUILOVEYOUILOVEYOUILOVEYOUILOVEYOUILOVEYOU). Most L7 fans that I knew felt the same way I did about this album when it first came out. Guess L7 knew something that we didn't, because 'The Beauty Process' for all I know has become an L7 favorite.

This is one of L7's best yet. I know you will fall in love with their music once your ears have discovered what they have to offer!! It's a combo of trash/metal/pop all in to one CD. You have to listen to "I Need" and "Bitter Wine". They don't sound like the band Hole, but most fans of Hole love L7!!!! send me your comments or critisizm

This is one of the only Cds I own that I love every song on it. The intro is annoying. It kicks off with Drama which will get you singing (or something)....Listening to the Masses are Asses makes you want to mosh in your bedroom. this isn't a grrrrl band, it's a good band. I want a bunch of guys to buy this CD too. If you like Nevermind, or anything by Perl Jam, you'll love this. If you love L7 email me!! Ps- this is one of those great bands that was never fueled by the media.

Angry women, loud guitars-- what could be better?,

L7's 1997 release is soaring with loud guitars and angst-ridden lyrics. These grrrls can holler and scream louder than any female you've ever heard, and the songs are so addictive that you'll find yourself listening to it every waking minute. 5 stars all the way!!
