I got this for my daughter's bed and she loves it. The "Micro Mink" is very soft, and while you can feel the wires a little bit, it's still very flexible and they are Not uncomfortably noticeable like some other people said. We put this between her sheet and comforter and it had her bed warmed up in no time. I love the auto-shutoff feature because my girl sleeps like a rock and I know getting too hot wouldn't wake her up enough to remember to switch it off.
The controls are easy to use, though it is kind of odd that they're attached to the top of the blanket next to a patched on tag. I guess I'm just used to that stuff being at the bottom. But we have that side facing down, plus it's under her comforter so it's not a big deal. Her bed is a Twin size, and it covers her bed perfectly.
We've been starting it on High to warm up her sheets before she gets in, then letting her fall asleep with it on Medium. It's perfect for us to use right now because we're trying to wait to turn on our furnace until later in the season, but it still gets crisp inside at night.

The warming throw is wonderful! small to fit on the sofa or chair and not heavy. It is quite warm when needed or just a hint of warmth on low. Very pretty too!
