4.0 out of 5 stars This CD is really worth the money!!!, June 20, 1997
By A Customer
I really liked this CD mostly because I love Beavis and Butthead but also because it has lots of funny moments. It's almost like watching part of an episode for every song. My two favorite songs are "Come to Butthead" [a song that is based on Buthhead's saying (this song is very funny)], and "I got you babe" where Beavis and Butthead sing the famous song along with Cher. Butthead sings and when I first listened to the CD, my jaw hurt from laughing so much. I hope evrybody who likes Beavis and Butthead even just a little bit, to get this CD. It is great!!!!!!! END

5.0 out of 5 stars The title says it all!, August 12, 2005

Listening to this album is like watching the MTV animated comedy. The album begins as if it was live. The announcer says,"Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready to rock? Would you please welcome Beavis and Butthead!". Butthead tells the audience(voiced by B&B creator Mike Judge),"Here's one we just wrote,HUH HUH HUH HUH!". It's Nirvana performing I HATE MYSELF AND WANT TO DIE. Butthead quotes,"That kicked ass!". Beavis quotes,"It ruled! It ruled! HEH HEH HEH HEH!". Before Anthrax's LOOKING DOWN THE BARREL OF A GUN plays,B&B checks out a tour bus containing Anthrax. After Beavis looks at an album of photos of naked females,he takes the album into the lavatory and pulls out the photos(it is claimed that one of the females was Beavis' shapely mother). Beavis actually went into the lavatory to move his bowels, needless to say. But B&B end up thrown off the bus. Judge, who has a songwriting talent as well, gives us the 70's disco-flavored COME TO BUTTHEAD. Megadeth gives us 99 WAYS TO DIE. Run D.M.C. joins B&B in spoken vocals before BOUNCE. DEUCES ARE WILD,performed by Aerosmith kicks major ass! DAW is an outtake from the band's 1989 album PUMP. It subsequently appeared on the band's 1994 album BIG ONES and on their 2002 ultimate compilation O YEAH! ULTIMATE AEROSMITH HITS. White Zombie's I AM HELL is OK. Primus' POETRY AND PROSE is cool. The lead singer claims he's "a Three Stooges man like Larry,Curly and Moe but once in a while I get a kick out of that Beavis and Butthead show!". Sir Mix-A-Lot's MONSTA MACK is pretty cool. I guess the most famous of all is Cher's re-recording of I GOT YOU BABE by the late Sonny Bono. She and Bono,as Sonny & Cher recorded the song in 1965 and was a Top 10 hit. Butthead asked Cher if she was once married to "that Bono(bah no) dude". Butthead was referring to U2's frontman Bono Vox. Cher replied,"Bono(bo no),Sonny Bono." Butthead thought that post-Sonny & Cher,Sonny was a San Diego cop. Cher said,"No,he's the mayor of Palm Springs(California)." Also there's awesome tracks recorded by Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jackyl. Following the conclusion of IGYB is a reprise of CTB. The reprise is in hip-hop form featuring an unknown(at least to me) rap/hip-hop artist. Between IGYB and the CTB reprise is audience applause and the announcer saying,"Ladies and gentlemen,Butthead has left the building."(is if Butthead were the late Elvis Presley). Beavis replies,"No he hasn't. He's in the toilet! HEH HEH HEH HEH!". If you're a B&B fan, this item is for you. New copies of this album are very reasonably priced to own. Of course, they cost several dollars more each when it was a new release in 1993.

4.0 out of 5 stars "It's like, cool n' stuff"., November 3, 2003

I don't know why this is so dirt cheap, it's twice as good as their movie soundtrack. It's pretty much the mix of bands you would expect. The better tracks are from "Nirvana", "Megadeth", "Aerosmith", "Primus" and the "Red Hot Chili Peppers" covering a "Stooges" song. But the best track is Butt-heads "Come To Butt-head". It's him talking over a slow 70's groove, and is really funny. There's also B & B chit-chat between most songs, some of it goes on forever, but most is humerous. At this price it's worth getting. It'll go great with your "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" and "Wayne's World" soundtracks.
