Why would a 42 year old man be purchasing a Beavis and Butthead DVD? Because it was one of the funniest shows on television when it was on. I was an original fan when there were only about 5 to 6 episodes even in existence, so that if you started watching on Monday you were seeing the repeats by Wednesday. However I do remember once reading an article in a magazine where David Letterman was quoted as saying that it was one of the only shows that he found consistenly funny. That says it all.

If you like this then check out Freaks and Geeks. Great writing and great characters.

I absolutely love this show. Beavis and Butt-head is one of the best shows put on TV ever. I can't believe it's taken this long to get this set out. I've gathered some information on this set and it's listed below.

Volume 1 will contain approx 40 shorts on 3 discs; there are 3 volumes planned. Mike Judge has hand-picked the episodes for this set, and some of them will be director's cuts (meaning they'll be different from broadcast, but not necessarily longer). There will be extras included on the set, and among them are music videos from the show. My source wasn't sure how many would be included, but told us it would be somewhere between 5 and 10.

When this DVD comes out on November 8 due yourself a favor and buy it. You will get a lot of laughs out of it.

I'm happy beavis and butt-head is getting put on dvd because i love beavis and butt-head more then any fan. But mike judge is making 3 volumes of this dvd which has 40 short episode's each so by the time all 3 volumes come to dvd it will only have 120 episode's but the series has 200 episodes so instead of me having to spend money on something i have Mike judge should put beavis and butt-head on seasons on dvd so then all the die hard fans con watch the best show that was ever made on dvd. Now i'm not saying Its Mike judge's falt that this is not happing but hopefully it happens.
