For anyone who doesn't like the song, for shame on you. So what if the music itself isn't that good, so what if it's rude and annoying, "Because I got high" is a very funny song and should be heard by all (if they can handle it). I find it to be very close to how you would listen to AC/DC's "Big Balls." The song isn't loud and powerful (or even orthodox for that matter), but it just a good song to sit back with and laugh and mellow out with. I haven't listened to the whole album, but "High" is really a feel-good song to relax with. Afroman may not come out with another hit, but this one's sure going to be in the record books.

First i would like to say that every song ive ever heard from afroman is seriously amazing. I swear this is exactly what hip hop and the rap game needs. His lyrics and flow are really good, his beats are soo tight. He has his own unique style thats irresistable. Everyone should pick up a copy of this cd and all of his others.Afroman is down to earth and talks about real stuff and also loves talking about having a good time with his homies smoking weed and getting drunk. He is really funny too. He's not all about smoking weed and he dosnt talk about it to be cool. Just have an openmind and please listen, just because he isnt a mainstream rapper like 50 cent dosnt mean he isnt good. Everytime i listen to one of his cd's it automatically puts me in a good mood. Reminds me of those good old days (before paranoia set in) and makes you long to get high again. A must for your parties. BUY THIS ONE NOW.

This CD-Single is simply hilarious. I can listen to it on and on, and I just start laughing each time. I am not a fan of rap either. These three tunes just remind me of those wierd high school and college acquaintances that engaged in some excesses. These tunes describe them to a tee.

... Funny doesn't begin to describe it. It is a totally relaxing song and you can even get an anti-drug message from it if you choose to (although I can't really say that I took it that way). Listen to it, buy it and enjoy!

Afroman...he's like the forbidden fruit I just can't have, maybe one day he will scoop me up in his powerful arms and carry me in a gleeful dash across loving meadows, but I guess that's just one of my girlish fantasies. Not only that, but the single "Because..." is sweeter than a plumb with sweet & low poured all over it.

OK, so it's not the best rap song ever written. But it's by far one of the most effective 'anti-drug' songs you will ever hear. Effectively captures the blase' attitude of the pot smoker and the spoils of over-indulgence without getting preachy.

Definitely something to pop in when you need a mood boost. You can't help but laugh when you hear it!

This song is really funny, but it drags on for too long and it just gets boring. It's good for the first few times you listen to it, but you easily get sick of it.

I think this song is absolutely pathetic, it's boring slow beat is annoying and not worth listening to.The lyrics are pathetic and stupid.This song is a joke and it went to number one, people try hard to get into the charts,Afro Man has just realised this song for a joke.The rubbish lyrics,bass and drum beat are dissapointing.
