Precocious granddaughter?,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Because I'm Worth It (Gossip Girl) (Paperback)
I certainly wouldn't have bought this on my own for my 12-year old granddaughter, but after listening to the lyrics on some of her songs, I realized that you can't censor them, but have to rely on whatever values you've been able to instill earlier on. She really loves this stuff; I have absolutely no idea what it is about.

Because I'm Worth It,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Because I'm Worth It (Gossip Girl) (Paperback)
I read the book Because I'm Worth It, by Cecily von Ziegesar.
It is the fourth book in the Gossip Girl series, and I really like the series. I would only recommend this series to someone who wasn't looking for deep reading, because even though these books were really good, they really aren't that deep. I liked this book because it was so different form the other Gossip Girl books. For example, in this book, Serena was going out with Aaron, as opposed to Aaron liking Blair. Another thing that was different about this book is that instead of everything being just perfect, things were pretty bad for pretty much all of the characters. Dan cheated on Vanessa with a model named Mystery, and Nate and Blair went to rehab; Nate for his drug problem, and Blair for her eating disorder. So many other things happened in this book that made it really hard to put down. |
