For Celine Dion, she backed herself into the corner of becoming the queen of the movie soundtracks in the late 90's. For her it seemed to be very well oriented, and a dash of beauty. One of the songs that seemed to prove it is Because You Loved Me, from the film Up Close & Personal. The song truly showed the elegance in the music industry, and for Celine. The song was written by Diane Warren, who wrote Un-Break My Heart for Toni Braxton, and If You Ask Me To for Patti LaBelle originally and then Celine. The song really seems to sink in a lot more than My Heart Will Go On, largely because it isn't overdone and just feels simple and beautiful. All that I can for Celine, now that she is doing shows in Las Vegas, is that she needs to keep those ballads right and beautiful. This one just can't be beat.
