Love all of Becca Fisher stories. Or to me more accurately she is sharing a family with us. Each story connected to the next , as
we read this beautiful selection of 40 books. You learn of their lives, their hopes, their heartaches, their disappointments, yet, thru all they are looking for love. Each has a strong belief in God, family, humility, and being humble. Each of the stories we can relate to, regardless of age. Giving us laughter, insight for daily living, of what maybe going on in ones own lives. To say their are
great, to me really doesn't described, how great they are.
Was given the book, for an honest opinion. Thank you Becca, another book selection well done.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Family's Struggles and Joy August 13, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
AN AMISH WIDOWERS HEART: It is unusual to read a man’s point-of-view after losing his wife. They were married less than two years, so the reader is left wondering how can there be so many memories that are keeping him for moving on. It seems contradictory when the Amish are taught to live in the present. One of the things he misses about her is her cooking which he always took for granted. It is not until he realizes he is not happy, and hasn’t been in two years, that he decides to move on. It was up to him to find happiness, and the sunny skies again. With Wendy he did, and was able to once more find those sunny skies ahead. When you're happy with how things are, you don't reflect on how things were.
A great story and lesson of finding happiness, and staying in the present.

LET LOVE IN: The story is about Jenna facing day by day, after losing her husband Mark, while trying to look after her two children, Lily and Thomas. A naturally serious person, Lily is overwhelmed with sorrow. Realizing how it is affecting her children, she decides on a day at the beach with them. On way, she encounters Daniel, whose horse had thrown him, and is also headed toward the beach. Giving him a ride, she enjoys his laughter which reminded her of Mark and how he was always clowning around. That day brought a lot of changes, and she if forced to look inside herself and ask if she could ever truly love again. Daniel is somewhat mysterious. He is English and claims he has returned to a more simplify life, but what of his life before? She hears he has come to court another woman, Miriam. Could she express her feelings? Realizing that no one belongs to anyone but the Lord, she accepts that if it is what God has planned for her, he will make it happen.

True romance has always made me feel a sense of warmth. I have just started reading the book and have become so entranced by the raw honesty of the Amish love stories. I have read Miss Fisher and other authors of these types of stories and enjoy hers the most so far. I continue to look forward to more of her work.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love reading about the Amish August 16, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
I love reading about the Amish, as I live near Lancaster, Kutztown and other towns/cities in PA and have grown up with them. Becca Fisher makes you feel like you are right there in the family, being part of the families lives. I would recommend any of Becca Fisher's books. Thank you Becca for your talents!

Becca Fisher is at it again! Telling a story with such clarity, beauty and truth. She really portrays the Amish life well with the common theme: love for God and having Faith that all will work out for good! The reader can identify with characters and learn life lessons. Kudos to you, Becca!

Becca Fisher shows us how much people, worldwide, are so similar. Our customs and traditions may differ but our emotions, fears and love are the same who ever you are and however you are raised. I love reading her stories about the Amish, they are so interesting.

I purchased this thinking that it would be a quick easy read. However, I find that the stories do not flow well and seem to be from an inexperienced writer. Not bad, but I doubt that I will purchase anything else from this author.

I would have enjoyed these stories if they had been in three books. The stories were all basically the same so after reading so many of them you knew just what the story was going to be. If they had been in separate books you wouldn't have to read them one after another.
