The instructions consist of a diagram with no words. I am moderately mechanically-inclined and was able to put it together; with a couple of redos...

It is very cheaply made, the paint barely covering the wood in some places. The back is thin, thin board that slides in. The screws it came with to put the handle on with are too short, so I have not attached the handle and we cannot open and close the door yet; but that does not matter too much because no screws at all were included for the magnet that keeps the door tight, so I have not been able to install that either.

Waiting for a response from Amazon on my parts issues. I would not purchase this again.

My son does like the mirror on the inside and the yellow plastic name frame on the outside.

Try the Kidskraft one that comes with wheels. This one sits on the unprotected wood bottom. I will cover the corners with felt. The top is flat, but has four flat screws that show.

A sturdy product that is nicer than I thought it would be. Highly recommended. One caution: There is no place to put a lock if that is what you intend to do. I purchased a hinge set at Lowe's for $2.50 and installed it above the handle so now my daughter can lock up her goodies from her brothers! It is pretty big too. I guess I wasn't paying attention to the measurements and thought it was the standard size I had seen before.

Purchased 2 lockers for my daughters for Christmas. One was missing the back panel to the locker. The other one I had to shim the sides to get the door to close.
Quality control in this company needs improvement. We did not get what we paid for!!

I purchased this item to be used as a nightstand and extra storage for my son's NY Giants themed room. The blue is the exact shade of Giants blue and looks terrific. It was ver easy to assemble, I am not handy at all and was able to assemble it in minutes! Great buy!

Avoid buying this product, the saying you get what you pay for doesn't begin to described this cheap box of junk. The bottom piece came not even predrilled for installation. a real piece of junk.

As you can ssee from my title this locker was not even semi-good. It is HORRIBLE. It is cheaply made and the pieces don't fit together correctly. We originally received 2 of these (one for each of my girls). The first one went together with little problems, but the door did not close properly. I just brushed it off as cheaply made. I went to build the second and I couldn't even get the door to shut. We returned this one and had Amazon send us another to replace it. The third was just as bad. I had to sand down the door and side panels just to get the door to close with little difficulty. If my girls were not so keen on having these I would of returned them all.

The instructions provided made Ikea instructions look simple.

So RUN, RUN as fast as you can away from these so-called lockers.

I bought two of these for my boys (4 and 5). They share a room and needed space that belonged solely to them. It is big enough to work as a nightstand but we have them side by side along a wall. Some of the holes were not predrilled, but overall it was fairly simple to assemble. It has been sturdy enough to hold up to them so far, but I will note that when the door is open it will fall forward if it not attached to the wall and since most young kids don't understand the concept of weight distribution to keep it down, I would recommend attaching it to the wall. The little mirror inside the door has also been a hit and was a surprise for us. Overall, we have been happy with our purchase. Although we also bought them at about $20.00 a piece, here on amazon.

I was really excited to get this for my son for Christmas, With all the seasonal craziness, we forgot to put it together till Christmas eve, just to find out.. The magnetic piece was broke. The door was a different blue & doesnt shut all the way, it has to be forced shut. Shouldve went with a different item, & read all the reviews first.

Wooden locker, went together easily has a mirror inside. My child loved it. Bright and colorful and has lasted several months of use (play) with no issues.

I have four blue ones and three red ones. The first one I bought was sent back because the door did not close properly. The replacement was worse than the one I sent back (the first one had to be "slammed" shut, the second one did not even close at all). Now, with that said, let me say that I decided not to put the door on at all and use them as bookshelves. Thus, I bought six more. Since I only paid $19.99 and free Amazon Prime shipping (I HIGHLY recommend Prime), I am okay with not having the doors. Now I can tell you I certainly would not pay $40 or $50 for these (as I see the price is at the time of this writing), but $20 was fair and I like the colors, even if the red will blind you if you do not have your sunglasses on. So, for my purposes - I am remodeling my basement and designing a pre-school classroom for my younger children - then this worked well for me. However, if you are set on a locker then just be aware of the fact that it is hit or miss with these and you may get a dud. But if you have Prime, you can send it back for free and have a replacement shipped for free. For this part of the purchase, Amazon is the place to shop. Well, they DO have awesome prices most of the time, too! :0)
