We have five of this guys running for our yard fountains, they have a life time of about two years average, a couple have been going for 4-5 years. One of the new ones failed after a week, a replacement was sent no charge, no questions, from the supplier/manuf. Great customer service!

We recently purchased this pump as a replacement for the same pump that has kept our 7 ft x 12 ft pond open from ice in the winter and oxygenated all year round. The last pump served us for 4-5 years without any problems. As compared to several pumps we used before buying this brand - this pump is a smart buy and will provide years of trouble free service.

I've had many other pumps for my water fall and never got more than 2 years out of them, This item is only acouple weeks in use so it's still to soon to judge but the mechanisim is much differant so I am looking for much longer use, so far so good.

After installing the Beckett 3500gph for our waterfall with excellent results, I bought the 600gph model to pump out the below ground reservoir for future clean outs , this allows me to pump out onto nearby planters,( water conservation).
Both pumps have worked very well, although it is still in the first year. I would buy both again.

This is a replacement pump for the same model we had before. The price at Amazon was much better then we got at a retail store.
Our original pump lasted 5 years. We've only had the new one for a couple of months and so far so good.

We have a small pond in our back yard for our 3 ducks. Needless to say, it gets pretty mucky with poop and feathers. Consequently, we go through pumps rather quickly as they get fouled up with feathers unless we encase them in something, and if we do that, it gets clogged up with poop muck. We end up having to clean the pump every other day.

This pump is a completely different design, and the usual spinning blades and drive shaft are completely covered. It has a larger bore intake and really doesn't care at all about the muck. Really good power. This pump is NOTHING like the usual pond pumps you find at Home Depot. A relief to find a pump that does the job without clogging up.

I have a smaller Beckett bought from Home Depot that is still working after 2 and 1/2 years. Two pumps bought from Harbor Freight broke down after 4-5 months. That is why I chose Beckett again.

I bought this because another brand of pump failed in one of my ponds. My other pond has been running for years on this model. I have not had to touch that pump that has been running for all these years. Hopefully the new one will be as reliable.

Well, I got my first pump, and it didnt work at all! I called Beckett and they shipped me a new one. Worked for two days and then stopped. Called Beckett for the last time and was really tired of the pump failing. They sent me a new one and it has been working ever since. (6 months)

So far , so good. Product has performed well to date but it has only been in use for a few weeks. Hopeful!
