I have had my fountain for 8 years now, and it contines to operate flawlessly. When the original pump died last year, replacing it was easy since the pump is not permanently built into the fountain. (Some would think this a disadvantage, but when the pump dies in a fountain with the pump permantly afixed, the fountain is history.)

This fountains gives you something to look at as well as hear, which is unusual for fountains that don't have lights. This was the first of about 8 fountains I have in my home and it is still one of my favorites. Splash is minimal; cleaning is easy. All in all, this fountain is a winner!
