Becky Higgins is AMAZING!

Project Life is a wonderful way to keep track of your life in a daily/weekly journal, as a gratitude journal, as an event journal, and more.

I was happy with everything, but not quite sure if the page protectors are sturdy enough to hold up under years of being used.

I just ordered this kit based on the 2010 version, which is just beautiful. It's very high quality and surprisingly seems to coordinated well any photo put next to it! If you're a beginning scrapbooker just getting started, or a seasoned scrapbooker that's pressed for time, this is a wonderful kit you'll really enjoy. I used this as a jumping off place and added my own touches to it thruout the album. You can embellish, enlarge photos and add in ribbon and flowers if you like those things. My children love looking thru this album. My husband and I do, too! :)

Love a lot about this kit! I really love this kit for daily documentation, and because it's a daily practice for me, I have time to come up with creative ways to document my day or week however I want, week-to-week, day-to-day. The design is cute and neutral enough to work well with everything and I love the convenience of the journaling cards. The fold-out journaling cards are double-sided, which is awesome and the layout of the pages is just visually nice, with the journaling cards in the middle. I put together my own 365 in 2009 and it was more work, obviously, than this kit. This kit frees me up to work on other projects while still doing a 365. I'm considering another kit for previous year photos or a different project.

The only things I don't love are the page protectors. I had no problem with them being tight--mine work well, so maybe that issue was just a bad batch-- I just feel they are a little "thin" and maybe a little flimsy. When inserting cards into them initially, a few of the pockets ripped. I'm not uptight, so it didn't ruin it for me, but I do have to be careful handling them and the weight of these protectors is not as high-quality as others I've used on my own 365 projects. If they skimped on them for cost reasons, I would add that I would be willing to pay a few bucks more for better page protectors. I worry these might not hold up well, but only time will tell! I hope they consider this when producing 2012 kits.

This is the second year I purchased Project Life. In comparison, the elements are made cheaper this year with the colors being less vibrant. When I opened my kit I actually thought a lot of the colors were ugly, nothing like what I saw on the screen. The binder is cheaply made and I can can see it falling apart with weekly use. The page protectors didn't fit in the album. Because of the cheap binder and the page protectors I am using an American Crafts binder instead. I am also using elements from last year's kit that match because everything was made better last year.

I did send some comments through Becky Higgins website and basically got blown off so I hope no one has any problems with their kits.

I love this concept but wouldn't recommend this product and probably won't buy from Becky Higgins again.

This is by far the best scrapbook product I have ever bought and I own a TON of scrapbook stuff! I've debated buying it for a year now and finally decided to just go ahead and do it. I'd been watching Becky Higgin's Project Life videos, looking at the product contents, and reading all (yes, all) of the reviews here on amazon. A few people complained about the page protectors which was one reason that I was hesitant to buy this kit. My finding was that, yes, they are a little snug going on the rings but I had no problem with them tearing. As for them being thin, I really don't think they are as thin as people made it seem...I had no problem at all with inserting the cards. If you are aggressive and jamming the cards in then, yeah, they'll probably tear. And you'll probably bend the cards too...lol. People with zero patience probably shouldn't be doing any sort of scrapbooking anyway... When it came today I opened it up looked through everything and realized it is AWESOME and totally worth the price. In reality, the cost of my scrapbooks that I have put together and spent countless hours on probably cost at least triple what I paid for this kit. I am so glad I bought this and will continue to buy Project Life every year for as long as it is available.

I love project life and I am really loving the Project Life Turquoise edition. My whole family helps in choosing the Picture of the Day so it's just not me that's choosing. That's what makes this a great idea and kit. I can capture our daily routines and memories that capture what is happening for that day. It's wonderful and easy to keep up with. I love the picture a day concept. The only thing I have issue with are the page protectors. They are thinner and the hole punch sizes need to be re visited. After all, if we are handling this album constantly, we will want the peace of mind that the album will stay together for a very long time. I'm sure the customer service from Becky Higgins LLC will address the issue soon.

This kit gives you everything you need to start scrap-booking. If you were to purchase everything from a local store it would be considerably more.
Thank you Becky Higgins....you rock!

This is my 3rd year doing Project Life. I am very pleased with the Turquoise edition. I love the design and the flexibility of the album kit. The first two years, I pretty much stuck to the basics, but now I am discovering new and different ways to capture my everday moments. Buy it! You won't be disappointed!
