I ordered this because of the infant insert as I have a newborn baby. Once I got over the many straps, I finally tried it. It wasn't too hard to get on when you figure out the straps. It is well made and soft. However, I didnt think it was that much better than the Ergo. I can easily get the Ergo on without help. The two shoulder straps don't easily unbuckle because of a tab you need to press. I gather that this feature is there for extra safety but when you are by yourself, it is difficult to undo it without using 2 hands. The infant insert was easy enough to use but I didn't see the need to switch from the Ergo. I will be returning the Beco. I only tried it the the infant front carry position.
