This is a must read for anyone interested in maintaining their dental health. Astounding information. There is no need to ever have another cavity. There is no need for gum disease. No need for mercury fillings. No need for root canals. All this can be avoided with just five to ten minutes a day spent on your dental health. Dental irrigation is explained in full detail. You'll be amazed at this simple, basic information and how alive your entire mouth will feel. I can't say enough about Dr. Nara's information. Also, I recommend his CD titled: Money by the Mouthful. You owe it to yourself to read this book and begin irrigating today.

At this point in time, when people seem to be indifferent to everything, it's hard to say if people would get excited over this book or not. One of the things it says is that fluoride is not the panacea it was claimed to be, although it does have value in less than poisonous doses. Remember when we were told that all we had to do was fluoridate our water and kids would have no more cavities? Not! We don't have to look far to see who is getting the most benefits from water fluoridation.Another thing it says is that getting your teeth cleaned every six months is of little value. Studies showed that in order to prevent cavities, you need a prophy ever two weeks, which, of course, is not financially feasible. The author advocates buying your own equipment for this. The author puts the responsibility for the care of teeth directly on the individual and tells you what you need to do.

The idea he tries to convey sounds good, but the organization of the book is not impressive. It is more like a memory train; how he is better than others. He should have just listed his recommendations in the book. Too many war stories, in my opinion.

Like his other books/materials Dr. Nara is very generous with his sharing of knowledge and information.Very inspiring to meet these missionaries of the world around walking the walk of being a child of God, with the dignity and liberty we all have inherit from birth so I absolutely enjoy each time I learn something. I am inspired by self healing and taking care of myself so this book is a great addition to my book shelf and most of all to my daily habits of oral higiene, thanks dr. Nara! Licia Hanshaw |
