This book has been a Godsend. It helped my daughter (and me) get through the manipulating behavior. It is amazing that my 11 year old is learning so much from a book. She loves to do the workbook activities and is hanging them all over her room. Her moods have improved so much I can't wait for this author;s next book to come out. We will be first in line. Thank you Miss Pam!

I first bought this book for my 9 year old son because he was having problems in school. I then realized this is a great book with really easy to use workbook pages for my 6 year old. We love playing the "Crazy Action Animals" role playing game. My 6 year old laughs herself silly when we play the scared mouse or ashamed puppy. Both kids are learning to express their feelings better. I am happy to recommend this book to other parents.

I am a single mom with 2 very active boys (ages 9 & 11). I was divorced 3 years ago. My kids learned so much from this book. It was a lifesaver! They realized that they need to get in control and to say what they are feeling. My ex and I also learned not to let our kids maniupulate us anymore! I wish we lived near the author so we could send our kids to camp make believe.

This is great that somebody finally wrote a kids self-help book that kids and parents can understand. My children and 6 and 8 and man have they learned from these stories. They love all the activities and we talk for hours using the discussion questions. I totally think this is a really good resource for parents.

I just turned eleven and my mommy and daddy just told me that they were going to get seperated. Mommy bought me this book and really helped me. I went through all of the exercises and after a month I feel so much better. I want to meet her and give her a big hug.

The subject matter is very serious, but the illustrations allow the reader to feel happy while learning to cope with their actions. I think this book would be very helpful to any grade-school teacher or parent. I recommend it.

What a terrific concept! Finally an author has thought to write stories about real kids with real problems. I am a teacher for the third grade. This book has information in it that has helped my classroom the first time reading it. The children love the workbook activities and they are simple to do. The characters in this book kind of reminds me of the Malcom in the Middle Kids. I love those kids and I love the illustrations in this book.
