Meditation for kids is a great idea but I found this CD irritating. Her voice is very nasal. Think mild Fran Dresher. She speaks so quickly that there is no time to visualize or to take a breath, especially not a deep relaxing breath. She quickly rushes through the guided imagery portion and then you are left with 40 minutes of music. It wouldn't have been that bad if she just spoke slower and allowed a bit of time between images. I found this to be a waste of money. My kids don't like it either.

There is only a little bit of guided imagery time and then a lot of music. Both of my girls (ages 6 & 9) listened to this CD and said, "Is this IT?" It was mostly music, which didn't do much for them. Instead, they both like "Indigo Ocean Dreams" by Lori Lite.

With all of the commercial, mind-numbing "crap" so to speak, that is available to children these days, I welcome the calming, sensitive meditations on this CD. My 4 year old is very shy around strangers and I am working with her to lose her anxiety and to feel comfortable in new and different situations when her dad or I am not with her (such as when she attends pre-school). Ms. Goldberg has introduced us to a new method of getting in touch with my child's feelings with this calming CD. Thumbs up! Way up!

My son wasn't really very talkitive-he only seemed to enjoy his video and computer games. Whenever I asked about school or his day the only response was, "Fine." and off he went. I found this CD and it has opened up new doors for my son and I. We communicate now. Boy does he have an imagination that was hindered by the television. I now know how school is and what makes him happy or aggrivated or excited. He loves listening to the CD any time of the day, especially on our long commute to school. Anyone who has a child should have this Cd in their home.

This CD not only helps my children relax, it gives me time to myself while the kids are visualizing! Ms. Goldberg has opened up a world of discussion in our household. Her ideas along with the meditation has allowed all three of my kids to find their voices in positive new ways. A great way to settle down our bunch at the end of the day!

This is a wonderful CD! My 8 year old boy is "all boy" and always on the move. He was able to listen to the story on the cd while using his imagination. I never so him so completely relaxed. The activites that are included inside the cd are really fun. I loved the music too - so calming. I am buying Mrs. Goldberg's other cd today! Sincerly, Joan Katz, Arizona

Seems awfully strange that all of the positive reviewers are from "parents" who have only reviewed this one item!!!! I tend to only trust reviews from people who leave multiple reviews.

I have copies of this CD, as well as Imagination Visualization at my office. I love it! While it's great w kids, it's also great for me!

I've fined my kids so many times for their behavior, getting an allowance was meaningless. That "solution" was satisfactory to no one. If you're looking for an alternative way to deal with your child, particularly if you're stuck in a repetitive situation that just does not work,you should definitely try this CD. I immediately felt a change in temperament as I listened, right from the start you can feel a mood change. A very useful tool to help your child understand what is happening and how to turn things around.

Why have I not heard of this before? Guided imagery for kids. This is the best idea. My girls are 7 and 10. They have listened to this cd everyday since we got it. They love all the art activities that are suggested inside the cd cover. It has helped them learn to relax and use their imaginations. Come out with some more of these please! Maggie in Seattle
