Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

Which are you becoming? Whether you're seventeen or fifty-seven, you're moving today toward one or the other. The good news is, you can trade bitterness for sweetness and jaundice for joy even if you're well on the road to grouchhood.

Join Marilynn Carlson Webber on an enjoyable, down-to-earth journey toward graciousness and true beauty. Young or not-so-young, you'll find yourself in good company as Marilynn introduces you to fellow travelers and their secrets for sweetness. You'll tap the wisdom of women who know the importance of seeing the humor in life. Of taking time to smell the roses. Of knowing how to forgive, how to make new friends, how to develop a vital faith . . . plus many more of the ingredients in a sweet old lady's recipe for gladness of heart.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super book with good examples and tips, June 7, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: How to Become a Sweet Old Lady Instead of a Grumpy Old Grouch (Paperback)
This is a great book. In fact, it's so great that I wanted to comment on it (my first review!). Each chapter give good solid examples on how to improve your life and how look at situations differently. Written from a Christian perspective, the tips given can be easily used in everyday situations. And her example of 'taking a day to fast from criticism' was great!
