From the Security Industry's Leading Plagiarist,
This review is from: How to Become the Worlds No. 1 Hacker Short & Simple (Kindle Edition)
Evans is well known as a copy+paste author. Nothing in this or any of his books will be original, and most of it will be verbatim plagiarism with find+replace of keywords to obfuscate the text slightly. Worse still is that much of the individual components will be out-of-context and not make sense from paragraph to paragraph.Steer clear of this steaming pile and be skeptical of anything else with his name associated with it.

Just as plagiarized as the hard copy version,

I have no ideas why Amazon lists the Kindle version as a separate item from the hard copy. But let me say that this is a terrible book. The author copies without attrition, which means that it is plagiarized. If you look on the attrition web site, it lists a number of articles which show how 98% of the book is plagiarized. above that, he is a convicted criminal, and has also been uninvited from many conferences. For the 2% of the book in which the author writes, including a screen print of an IM session, it is full of spelling and grammar errors. what is worse, the author lacks any idea of organization. He just has ideas and cuts and pastes them together. I wish I could give this book zero stars.

I downloaded the sample of this book on my Kindle. There are so many typos that I did not even finish. It was like reading a rough draft with all of the sentence and line breaks. I gave it three stars because I would really like to read the book but the typos make it very hard.

I have actually purchased this book, and read it. There are many books that I read and whether they are plagiarized or not; good information is good information. I am not concerned about the rumors of plagiarism, I like this book for its face value and entertainment. Anything that's factual will be repeated. What I most admire about the author's books is that they are very easy to read and to understand and give a level of entertainment and excitement. The author's colorful past is highly relatable and is a testament to not being a statistic. I recommend this book to any reader that is looking for true fact written information with a twist!
