Excellent Book about Deviance,
By David Pettinicchio (Montreal, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Becoming Deviant (Paperback)
This book is divided in two sections. The first outlines the contributions of the Chicago School of the 20's and 30's, the functionalists of the 40's and 50's and the Labellists or Neochicogoans of the 1960's to an emerging naturalist perspective (as opposed to correbtionalist perspective) to deviance. it's unfortunate that it is out of print. It's great for any sociology student who's interested in the study of deviance through a sociological perspective.
