5.0 out of 5 stars Totally outstanding -- interesting and informative in every way, March 4, 2006
I just read this book TODAY and was totally impressed, if not blown away! It was outstanding: certainly interesting and informative in every way. Easily the best, most concise book on the topic I have ever read--and one of the best books I have read in years (yes I am including Ray Kurzweil!!!)

The author clearly has a lot of knowledge of spiritual power and how that relates to what he calls our "light body" and properly harnessed sexual-personal energy. He speaks in a direct, frank, no-BS way that I found disarming and honest.

What I found was especially interesting is how his "gnostic" teaching's (if you can call them that) correspond very closely to basics of Taoism and kundalini yoga (eg, as taught by Samael Aun Weor in the Perfect Matrimony etc.) and the writings of Dion Fortune (eg, in The Esoteric Philosophy of Marriage), and consequently to Osho and other high-power yoga-magicians. I have experienced some of this in my own life, and found its correspondence (with my so-called "reality") to be very high...indeed!

The book's main strength, to my way of thinking, is also its basic weakness: the stream-of-consciousnesslike, direct experiential style which makes the book so easy to read seems to exclude references to other popular writers in the genre...Consequently, this comes off more as a "manifesto to young seekers" than any kind of comprehensive, academic guide (like say Georg Feuerstein). To its credit, that is obviously not what the author is aiming for. Highly, highly, highly recommended to all seekers--young and old alike: access ancient wisdom in a disarmingly modern style!

1.0 out of 5 stars Dumbest book I ever read, April 22, 2009
This book is just a stupid rant and has no struture or logic behind it, waste of time, there is no good advice and it just made me more confused.
