About the Author

Behnam Tabrizi, Ph.D., is a Consulting Professor in the Department of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University. He is an internationally recognized expert on RTE and Organizational Transformation and has served as a consultant to Hewlett-Packard, Intel, IBM, IDC, Motorola, Oracle, Cisco, Honeywell, and many other major companies. Dr. Tabrizi has also held positions at the Harvard Business School and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

I found the book to be well written. The author, addresses the need for the Real-Time Information, in today's business enviornment, very clearly. The way he defines the RTE with its cost and practicability in mind is very useful. The Models for planning and implementation, and the examples of the Role Models are very interesting and helpful. In my area of large Program Management, I found the book to be a must read for the Program Exacutives and all the senior managers. In my opinion, the Becoming A Real-Time Enterprise is the best book, on the subject, that I have seen in recent period.
