well-organized, practical approach is very goal-oriented. with insurance companies, EAPs, etc. what they are, this book offers some guidelines for getting a lot done in a short time. case examples illustrative. great section on what to do with patients who are defining someone else as the problem.

This book was excellent for anyone wanting to learn Solution Focused Therapy. I found this book to be very helpful. It is a must read for anyone interested in SFBT.

This book, which was published in 1992, remains on the best texts on the solution-focused approach (along with Interviewing for Solutions it is one of my favorites). Like many other students of the solution-focused approach I have returned time and again to this book. It superbly reflects the solution-focused approach as it has developed originally.

This book may be a used book, but the condition was mint! :) Fantastic course book for anyone interested in Solution Focused work. :)

This book was very informative, and I always consider it the "rock" of the solution-focused literature in my professional library. There have been several texts since this book was published that I found more useful and easier to read. However, if you're looking for the authority on solution-focused therapy, this is a must-have resource.
