Book Description

The Same System That Gave Me Back Control Of My Life...
What will you learn in this book?
  • The seven techniques that everyone who wants to be successful in time management must know.
  • The only tasks that you should care about. This only can completely change the way you approach work.
  • How to set your goals the right way. If you do this, then everything else becomes crystal clear.
  • The exact same productivity method that saved my life. I would have been trapped in life without this.
  • A simple technique that instantly took me from average to SUPERSTAR.
  • How to get more work done in 2 hours than most can get done in a whole day.
  • My 100% guaranteed method to ensure that you are successful at whatever you do.
Before I wrote this book, I gave three of my friends a layout of the system to try. To my surprise, they saw almost the same amount of increase in productivity as I did.

They reported feeling like they had more time than they knew what to do with. Finishing large projects in half the time as before. Making more HUGE steps towards their goals fast and feeling much better about life.

That is the power of mastering your time. What took me almost a year to achieve, by using my system, it only took them days.

This is the power of learning to master your time.

This is what every person who wants to be successful most know.

This will help you achieve your goals faster

These are the results you can have.

All you have to do is click BUY.

I look forward to taking our journey together

About the Author

Hello, Dennis Crosby here.

I wanted to take a minute and introduce myself, and answer the question you are probably asking: "Who is Dennis Crosby?"

I'm actually a pretty normal guy, who went through a point where I decided that it was time for me to tap into my potential.

Without going into the boring details, I was just not satisfied with where I was in life. Every day felt like a waste and I could literally feel my time slipping away.

It hasn't been an easy road. I have read more books, listened to more audio books and experimented with more techniques then the law should allow. But eventually, things started making more sense.

Every day the world became a little clearer and I slowly felt that potential rising to the surface. Inch by inch, my life had more meaning.

Over recent years I have learned some amazing things that can be duplicated by anyone who is looking to make a real change in their life. Everything that I have learned has come from either very successful friends, world renown leaders or really good books.

But why should you believe me?

There are a lot of people running around trying to convince you that they have all the answers.

Well, unfortunately for you, I don't have ALL the answers.

But I do believe that I have SOME of the answers (and I think the answers I have are pretty important).

Honestly, you SHOULDN'T just blindly believe me. In fact, I would recommend that you approach my materials with a healthy skepticism and a "scientific" perspective.

I want you to TRY what you learn from me. I think you will find that I am not interested in things that don't work. I like stuff that gets results and makes a meaningful impact on your life.

Only after you see that what I present is REAL...do I want you to "believe" me.

I'm a person, and as a person I have my flaws. But I also think my information is the best in the world, and I stand behind it all.

I honestly hope you get a TON of value from this!

-Dennis

5.0 out of 5 stars The right guide July 21, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I've discovered this guide after going through a catalogue of similar books to the one I've read only recently, Master Getting Things Done by Dominic Wolff. I found the latter quite good as it helped me find a way to organize my work flow more efficiently, so I've decided to look for something else that could perhaps aid me in other ways. I know that by admitting to reading a book like this may make me seem a little bit shallow, or perhaps full of myself, but the truth is that I've always thought that once you believe in something you can make it happen.

So did I become rich in a week? I'd be a big liar if I say that I did, but I'd also be a liar if I didn't admit that I benefited by reading this guide. For me success never had much to do with money or my social standing; it always had to do with finding a balance in my life though. When people used to ask me what I dreamed of achieving in the future, my usual answer was that I wanted to be in a good place. What I meant was: be a good family man, enjoy a healthy life, have time to spend on my hobbies, and of course succeed in whatever I'm doing.

This book has pointed me in an almost effortless way towards the direction I wanted to take. While reading it I felt as if the author was talking directly to me, and when I finished I felt certain that if I've followed the advice offered here I'd achieve at least some of my goals. What else can one ask for from a book?

The cover of the book seems a little gimicky so I was hestitant to purchase. It reminds me of a bad infomercial in written form. Not very appealing to the eye or to the person searching for legit help in improving focus, time management & overall self help. However, after reading the reviews on Amazon I decided to take the bait. I read this book very quickly & then went back over it one chapter at the time to make sure I understood everything the author said. There is a lot of information that can be considered to be common sense, BUT the difference in the advice this book gives & common sense is that people do not use common sense. So if you read the book & actually USE the tools the author has written to help then you will see success. I was motivated to move forward without feeling like I was being applauded for. The message of the book shows you how to make goals for the year, how to break those goals into reachable tasks & how to daily make progress towards those goals. You cannot simply read the book, you have to do the work. If you're not willing to take the time to sit down & work on your life plan, then it doesn't matter how many of these books you read. They're not going to work. Since reading this book & making my goals for 2013 I have crossed 4 tasks off of my list. That's faster than a spider monkey on Mt. Dew! Again, I was ready for change in my life. Get a pencil (Or in my case, Evernote) & paper so you can get to work. Remember as the inspirational Sean Whalen said, "Power is Powerful."

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the Missing How-To Guide! May 8, 2013
By Brett
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have read a number of books that could fall into the "how do I get better at life" category over the past 10 years. Most books I've read have left me with some nuggets good information I've used to understand WHAT I should be doing differently and WHY. There are a precious few books that have helped me put the concepts into action (the HOW). This is one of those books. The author has not come up with new concepts or theories for making a person more productive, but he does explain how to put the best-in-class productivity concepts into action. This is one of maybe 3 books that I know I will refer to and re-read to keep the ideas fresh in my mind.

One place that was a very profound for me is goal setting and prioritization. I've been pretty good throughout my career about setting goals using the clever SMART acronym. Although he does not mention SMART explicitly, the author has a way of breaking down the philosophy behind SMART that makes it straight forward, and easy to apply. I found myself spending a lot of time going through the goal definition exercises because of how easy I found the methodology. I'll never get stuck on goal setting/planning again!

The material on prioritization have been eye opening for me as well. The author talks about the "Area of Impact" (AOI), which I relate to AOR in GTD, and Roles from the Seven Habits (although the analogy is not perfect). The basic idea is that you need to understand what the outcome you want is, and then understand "...what you do that produces the most meaningful results", then do that work that produces the most meaningful results. That seems like table stakes, but how often have you sat down and really articulated what work you do that adds the most value to the outcome you want, and then focus just on that?

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Self Help Book October 3, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I loved Dennis's book, "Becoming the 1%." It speaks straight into the efficiency expert you "have" to be to make in today's world. With current statistics showing that 4 out of 5 Americans will never retire, it is a must have. (Thanks Dennis, for an excellent book full of incredible advice.)

2.0 out of 5 stars It's okay. July 9, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The book is okay, but it is more of a compilation of many different time-management techniques that the author finds useful, and not an original work. And as it is a compilation, there is no system as such. No general approach. I tried to do the things the author suggested, but I didn't find them really helpful. However, it might be useful for people who are already good at time-management and want to improve it even more. Definitely not for people who are terrible at it, like me.

As for the way material is presented, I found it rather boring. Not many personal stories or good illustrating strories, or any stories... But it is clean and neat. For me - a 2-stars book, or as I say "a 4 dollar book".

This book is okay - not great. It has some good information and was worth my time, but certainly nothing earth-shattering or life-changing. Nothing really is new here.

More About the Author

Hello, Dennis Crosby here.

I wanted to take a minute and introduce myself, and answer the question you are probably asking: "Who is Dennis Crosby?"

I'm actually a pretty normal guy who went through a point where I decided that it was time for me to learn how to tap into my potential.

Without going into the boring details, I was just not satisfied with where I was in life. Every day felt like a waste and I could literally feel my time slipping away.

It hasn't been an easy road. I have read more books, listened to more audio programs and experimented with more techniques then the law should allow. Eventually, things started making more sense.

Every day the world became a little clearer and I slowly felt that potential rising to the surface. Inch by inch, my life had more meaning.

My real breakthrough came while I was reading the book King, Lover, Warrior and Magician. I learned that a large internal conflict that I was dealing with was just me suppressing my desire to share what I learned with the world.

Now I have committed myself to the goal of "helping the world live a more complete and fulfilled life." I know it will be difficult and I am just taking it one day at a time. One book at a time.

Over recent years I have learned some amazing things that can be duplicated by anyone who is looking to make a real change in their life. Everything that I have learned has come from either very successful friends, world renown leaders or really good books.

Either way, it is all amazing.

Why should you believe me?

As you already know quite well, there are a lot of people running around trying to convince you that they have all the answers.

Well, unfortunately for you, I don't have ALL the answers.

But I do believe that I have SOME of the answers (and I think the answers I have are pretty important).

The question you're probably asking is "Why should I believe what Dennis Crosby says?".

My answer is that you SHOULDN'T just blindly believe me.

I honestly hope you get a TON of value from it so I can get one step closer to completing my goal.
