From the author of the children's book How Sadie Learned To SMILE and co-author of Time Out On A Roller Coaster comes a new collection: Becoming... 20 short stories exploring pivotal times and journeys in our lives. Walk with Darcy Adams in "A Ready Heart" as her heart accepts that God has a way of taking the bad in our lives and allowing us to use it to do good; get warmed by the dawning in "A Light That Shines In Winter" as Angelina realizes the good her husband has done will always shine even in the cold darkness of winter. Experience the humorous transformation to "A Woman Of A Certain Age"; believe with the unnamed heroine in "Twenty-one Days Of Believing" when all others have given up hope; eat "Dark Chocolate" with Tamra Collins as she finds love at a most unexpected time; watch the wounds of betrayal heal in "Unwanted"; and many, many more in Becoming... a heartwarming, blossoming color march through life.
The second book for author Linda Boulanger,"How Sadie Learned To SMILE", is a heartwarming book about a little dog named Sadie who learns through the help of wonderful friends that, if she'll just look for it, she can SMILE: See Magic In Life Everyday.
As well as promoting the positive message of finding the magic of life, the book also raises awareness of the role animal shelters play in the community. Sadie is a shelter rescue dog and the book highlights Linda's local Animal Rescue Foundation.
Linda received fantastic reception for her first book, "Time Out On A Roller Coaster". Her first shipment of the book was sold before it ever arrived and internet sales have been overwhelming.
"Time Out On A Roller Coaster" is a collection of 23 light and fun short stories written to leave readers satisfied with their ride into the fantasy land of fiction. Released in August of 2009, it is proving to be the first of many as additional books by the author are working their way through the publishing process. Linda is scheduled to have additional children's books, another collection of short stories, and 2 romantic-type novels out in the very near future. She has also created an Author's Community Website (www.AwesomeMessages.com) and is working on a publishing mechanism (www.OneStopPublisher.com) to help others along the route of achieving their writing dreams.
If you would like to purchase the books or for more information, please visit Linda's website: www.LindaBoulanger.com. Linda's blog is a fun walk along the way as she writes her novel "A Marriage of Necessity" although she has worked hard to fill it with informative pieces on writing, self-publishine, marketing, etc. as well.
Part of the proceeds from How Sadie Learned To SMILE will be donated to Animal Rescue Foundation of Bartlesville's Sanctuary Fund.
