With the contributors below there is something for everyone.
I bought this book because I saw that two of my favorite author's, Karin Kallmaker and Therese Szymanski, had new short stories included. I was delighted to see that the book included an extended list of fabulous writers. A special treat was to read a short story by Tee Corinne that I had not read before. A bonus are the poetry selections, and at 240 pages this is a book that will last a long time in the reading. Writers - Karin Kallmaker Therese A. Valerie Ta'Shia Asanti Diane DeKelb-Rittenhouse L. J. Nieves Sharon Wachsler The only things missing for me are author bios that would lead a reader to more titles by the contributors, and I would have greatly enjoyed a lengthy introduction by the esteemed editor Victoria Brownworth. This is a keeper. |
