Got this boot because I was looking for a plain, worn-in looking brown boot that had some "character". This boot definitely has character. It's VERY light weight, but seems to run a half size large. I normally wear an 11, and wish I would've ordered a 10.5. However, after putting in my gel inserts, they actually fit pretty comfortably.
The upper is a nice brown leather that has been treated to give it a worn-in look. My daughter said, "those boots are new, and they already look dirty." The sole is a very unique "old-world" design, and I've only had them for about a week now, but am curious as to how this sole will hold up.
Very cool looking boots with jeans/khakis. Wouldn't recommend them for a more dressy environment though. Wouldn't wear them in rough, outdoor settings either.
Overall, it's a very cool looking, comfortable fitting jeans/khakis boot with some "character".

I really like the look of this boot. It's a simple brown boot. The leather seems to be decent (not that I know leather)and they seem to be well constructed.
Fit: The boots fit large, in length and width. I normally wear a 10.5 in shoes. My foot is on the verge of being a wide. I ordered a 10 in these boots and there is still a good .25" in the length and plenty of width. So order down a half size and you may have to go more.
Sole: The sole is a little odd. They are more of a smooth style rubber bottom with the texture of a well worn sole in a shop (there is a pattern of bent nails, staples and screws molded into the sole). This is not a boot to hike in.
I do like this boot, but I will like add an insole in it to take up some space.

This is a nice boot especially for the price. So far it seems to be well made (I've had my pair for a bit over a month.) It looks like a casual take on a military boot.
The leather upper is soft and the sole is a soft rubberish thing. That makes for a light and comfortable boot. The sole is fine on most surfaces but oddly enough is a little slippery on certain carpets.
