Pros: It tells good time. It's a good size for travel and not bad as a desk clock. Once you set it up, the international clock feature (you rotate the dial and it tells the time in the city at 12:00 position) works well. It uses a battery that's easy to get in any major developed country. Any coin will open the battery compartment, it's essentially no-tool.Cons: the unlit display can get glare on it if you're near a window. You have to tilt the clock a bit sometimes to read it quickly. Programming it that first time is tedious. The instructions are crazed. It's easier just experimenting. If you can set a digital watch with several functions, you can set this. If you *cannot*, don't buy this, you will cry. It's worth the money if you don't have to rent a gadget freak to program it for you.

This thing is a piece of junk,

Incredibly disappointing. The clock is tiny for the price, difficult to program and was broken when received. I could not rotate the dial at all. I had my husband try and the clock broke in the process.
