About the Author
Englebert has been a Zen Buddhist for most of his life (both lay and monastic) who says he could not practice feng shui if he didn't believe in it, and wouldn't believe in it if he hadn't seen it work. Clear has decades of experience in visual merchandising. He opened his first bookstore in Huntsville, Alabama, at the age of 19, and has since owned several others and managed many, including Green Apple Books, San Francisco's largest new and used bookstore. He began his work as a residential interior consultant in Hawaii in 1993, and opened his feng shui practice there in 1994. Clear now writes for RFD magazine and runs his feng shui practice in San Francisco.
