Our Hardwood Bedside Table measures 18"x20" and is 22" tall. ABOUT POPLAR HARDWOOD - The table is made of smooth, clean, unfinished poplar hardwood. The wood has been kiln dried and planed on 4 sides to be smooth to the touch. The wood takes stain or paint exceptionally well but most of our customers elect to leave it as is and enjoy the beauty of natural wood. ***IMPORTANT NOTICE - This item requires assembly, we include all hardware and step-by-step instructions.

Solid and Easy to Assemble,

I ordered two bedside tables to match the Charelston Bed that I bought in the Spring. I stained the bed and tables a Light Walnut Color (brand - Varathane) which ended being a warm medium brown shade. They took stain beautifully. There was quite a bit of variation in the wood grain, but I liked how this looked. I then covered them with an oil finish. The construction is solid, and they were easy to assemble. They are very simple looking tables, but the price for value is excellent. Since I decided to stain them, this did take some time to do (a couple of afternoons), but if you are willing to dedicate a few hours to the project, the stained result is beautiful.

The table-top and table center screw holes did not line up with the table legs.As I assembled this past the one week deadline for returns I am out of luck. Also, the directions were faulty; the legs are referred to as T-9 in step one and as T-13 in the parts list. Step 2 of the assembly is in error directing to screw in the leg connectors but the screws belong to the middle shelf slats. So I have the table top, table center and the leg ends that do not fit together... as it is too late to return the item - I might try drilling my own holes - but it will not come out as in the product photo.Bedside Table - Brand New Solid Hardwood Table
