This collection of 10 tales is perfect for some light reading while on the bus, train, passenger car, pontoon, frigate, steamer, 18-wheeler, x-wing, y-wing, tardis or bar stool. Worth every penny and more.
That said, it was well worth 99 cents, and stories like "Kevin's First and last Trip to the Zoo" may not increase bedwetting or therapy bills but are fun to read aloud with weary parents, grade school teachers and other people with a grudge against the young.
The stories themselves are decent. They have some adult content, so don't plan on reading them to your kids. Mid to late teens should be fine with them and will probably enjoy them.
If you want something that is quick to read and quirky, go for this. Make sure no-one is reading over your shoulder :)
On the Kindle side, it is distracting that the font changes half way thorugh the book. Disappointing.
Three stars overall because it was fun but I wont read it again, it just didnt quite work for me enough to rate it higher.

I have a twisted thinking pattern like this writer. It feels wonderful to laugh at others who think like yourself and hear their comedic tales! I to nannied.... I so understand!Published 13 days ago
I wouldn't call this my favorite book ever, but it's definitely worth 99 cents.
It's 10 short stories that end either badly or very badly. Read more
Loved it!! My best friend has it and recommended it to me. I'm sure these kind of stories are in the minds of so many nannies and babysitters.Published 17 days ago by Joanna M. Sullivan
I like children's stories and some of these are pretty likely to scare some kids. Not really scary, but good for scaring kids.Published 3 months ago by Jennifer
Not as funny as I hoped it would be. Read the other reviews and not sure what they find funny, and I have a great sense of humor!! =D Oh well...better luck next time!Published 3 months ago by Melinda
This is a weird but very entertaining book! The stories are short and sometimes don't make sense but the ones that do are fantastically funny.Published 5 months ago by Maxwell
