I like Burt's Bees peppermint lip balm; I think it protects well and I like the admittedly strong peppermint essence. Despite my fondness for that product, I have met people that think Burt's Bees peppermint balm stings when it is applied, is too aggressive in its flavoring, and is too thick. Bee-yond Lip Balm is a good alternative for the individuals out there that do not like Burt's Bees peppermint lip balm for these reasons.

While it is very clear upon application that this is intended to be a peppermint lip balm, Bee-yond lip balm is much more subtle in its use of peppermint than Burt's Bees. The coverage is lighter than Burt's Bees as well. I don't ever find that there is a thick film upon application. This does lead me to believe that the user has to apply Bee-yound lip balm with greater frequency. I live in the Midwest where it is cold and dry. This lip balm did a good job keeping my lips smooth and moisturized this past winter.

I would purchase this product again.
