Product shipped very quickly. Looks great, just like the picture. Good size. Wooden pieces are very light, have a very cheap feel. Biggest surprise -- this item doesn't close! I guess that's what "table top" means, I suppose I should have known that (I thought it would fold like most other sets). So look at the picture, and realize that's exactly what you get -- an always-open backgammon game. Reasonable for the given price, but more serious backgammon players probably need to spend more for a closable set with more solid pieces.

There's no denying the attractiveness of this board. It's very nice-looking. However, it's not worth $40 by any stretch of the imagination. The wood is so light and soft that it shows wear after only a few games. The stones are nothing like those advertised in the image, but are rather flat disks of equally light wood which bounce all over the board during play. I suppose it does the trick, but for the price one would expect something sturdier.
