.22 and .177 cal barrels are very easy to remove and replace. Shoots 3/4 in groups at 30 ft or more. .22 cal shoots thru 3/4in thick wood at about 30 feet. Tried a daisy powerline and found the beeman to be harder to cock but quieter and better shooting.

Bought this at Walmart for 98.00 dollars. I was using crossman pellets and the accuracy was only okay. Bought the Beeman Crow-magnum pellets and this rifle will shoot nickles a 30 plus feet easily. I bought it for squirrel control as they were tearing up our back porch, taken out 3 with 3 shots. One at 60ft dead center hit. The accuracy really improved to fantastic when I used loc-tite blue on the stock and scope screws as the manual says to do. This rifle is Highly recommended. A fantastic and super accurate pellet rifle. Be sure to use beeman pellets or some other high quality pellets as crossman or daisy do not do this rifle justice at all.
Update: 4/19/11 - 16+ squirrels later this rifle was one of the best purchases I ever made. The accuracy is amazing.
Last update 6/11/11 - I stopped counting after 25 squirrels but I'm pretty sure I've gotten rid of at least 40 squirrels. One of the best purchases ever. No more squirrels in my back porch. Worth every penny and then some.

This is the first pellet rifle that I have owned. The construction is very solid. It has a nice wieght and feel about it. The scope is a nice bonus. Very accurate at 50 yrds out. An excellent rifle for the price.

When I first got this gun it felt great and looked great too. It took a while to sight it in, and the gun was not shooting consistently. At first I thought it was the pellets or a bad scope, but they went about 5 feet off target, up down left or right. A quick fix I realized was the allen bolt under the barrel was not tightened all the way, letting the barrel wobble just a small amount. Just tighten the bolt as far as it will go (for me it was another quarter turn) and then spend a few minutes sighting it in again. The gun should be one of the most accurate you've ever owned, especially with the beeman magnum pellets. I shot a can with a 1" group easily from about 50 feet away. Definitely enough power for a varmint gun (squirrels mostly). Great gun overall.

This air rifle is very accurate and hard hitting. Quality is excellent, the stock is beautiful. It is very heavy.

Although the barrels do interchange pretty easily, changing them requires you to re-adjust the scope. In addition, the barrel attachment screw tends to be a weak point. It would not be advisable to be taking it in and out often. So, I suggest you choose a caliber and stick with it. I chose .177 and used loctite blue on the screw to prevent vibration from causing it to loosen over a number of shots.

The scope is good. It is a cheaper air rifle scope, but it is fine. The scope mounts are junk. They're just too flimsy. I bought the AccuShot Premium Mid-Profile Airgun .22 Ring for 1-Inch Scope (4 Screws) from Amazon.

By using the loctite on the barrel screw and replacing the scope mounts, this rifle now holds its point of aim and is a fine gun for hunting or plinking. I rate it as an outstanding value. I would give it 5 stars if they included quality scope mounts and a small tube of loctite with the package.

Pros, accurate, most of the time, beutiful beyond words, .22 or .177 (.22 my preference) powerful, powerful, powerful!

Cons. Accurate if the barrels tight but after several shots it loosens, just tighten it and its good as new, for a while. Really heavy. Hard to cock at first but loosend after a while. SCope is TERRIBLE!

Very nice case, both barrels are off the air rifle and straped into the case along with the body of the rifle and the scope.

I have fired it maybe 30-40 times and it will take a little time to break it in.
The weight and feel of this Beeman tells you it is NOT a toy. This is a solid RIFLE.
The first time I cocked it, I was kind of shocked by how hard it was to do. A child or a lot of ladies will have a hard time cocking this air rifle. I does get easier the more you fire it.
So far it is as good as I could hope for at this price. I think it is a great deal.

The appearance of this gun with its wood stock looks better than I expected. I wish I could say the same about its accuracy. I spent Easter afternoon with two of my brothers, both of whom hunt and one who is an avid gun owner, trying to get the gun with the scope sightened in. We never were successful. I don't know what the problem is. Perhaps it's the weight of the gun that makes holding it steady difficult, pershaps there is just a defect with the scope, barrel or some other part of the gun. All I know is I haven't hit a bird or squirrel yet.

I bought this air gun to have around the camp site for plinking. Both myself and 13 year old son had all day fun with this thing. We shot the .177 cal. until we were out, then changed over to the .22 cal., re-zeroed the scope (a little low and to the right ) and kept shooting. It shoots the .177 cal very fast! The 22. not as fast but very hard. Just as hard as my new benji Trail np!. I am impressed with the fit and finish with this rifle. It says "made in china" but does not look like it. Are there "better" guns out there? Maybe but not when you consider it is almost two guns in one. The price is hard to beat at amazon. Need to learn the "springer hold" cause it does do that well. Scope needs a upgrade. But like I said this combo is hard to beat. Sights are seen through the scope. needed to use the one piece scope mounts cause the stock ones moved. This a very good father and son type of gun or good starter gun. I like the automatic safety, Every time you cock it, it puts on the safety.

This gun is amazing, especially using raptor ammo, it is loud. I actually bought this same gun at walmart for 98 bucks. I would get it their. The only problem i had with this gun is the bolt that kept the barrel in came loose after shooting it a bunch of times, all you have to do is tighten it.
