Good sixties fun,

Only knew this group through their hit Beep Beep which was a hit in the UK where I was brought up. Bought it for that track but was impressed with them and their other hits in the US. Strongly recommended for collectors of music from the sixties.

Our New Year's Eve party 06-07 was themed to a sock hop, and we had several '50's songs in mind, some of which were hard to find. "Beep Beep" was one of them. (Nothing to do with the Road Runner, folks.) We were happy to find this CD, and got a kick out of some of the other songs on it, too, even though "Beep Beep" was the one we were looking for.

Our special needs son loves the song "Beep Beep Beep" on this DVD. He plays it over and over and over. My husband and I like the other "older" songs on it too. So the whole family gets to enjoy it. He takes it to school also and plays it for his teachers and special needs class mates.

I bought this CD because I previously thought I lost the novelty CD it was on. I had forgotten about a few other good songs by The Playmates. I found my "lost" copy of Beep Beep, but I'm glad I bought this. Well worth the money for a visit down memory lane.
