5.0 out of 5 stars Bottle Cap Catcher, Stainless Steel
Very high quality. I mounted mine 4 inches down from the bottom of the opener. I can reach my hand inside to empty the caps if there are just a few caps. There are small drain holes in the bottom so rainwater will not fill up in the catcher.

2.0 out of 5 stars Waste of $
This does what it says. It catches bottle caps. But... I am surprised by how cheap and flimsy it feels. It might be stainless steel- but it is certainly a waste of 21 bucks. Buy a plastic catcher and call it good. I don't think I'd pay more than $10 for this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy it from "a bit of country / Collectibles + Closeouts", January 19, 2012

I originally bought it from "A bit of Country / Collectibles + Closeouts" only to have to return it as they sent me something that looked like it had been sitting in someone's garage for 20 years and NOT Brand New as was advertised. So, I had to return and reorder from another seller.

Amazon took it back with no problem and a full refund. I then ordered it from KegWorks (I thought), but it shows up as "Dot Com Holdings of Buffalo, Inc" on the invoice. Oh well, whatever, whoever they are they sent me a brand new undamaged cap catcher exactly as described and I'm happy with it. It cost about $1.50 more than the first one I had ordered (and had to return) from "a bit of country / Collectibles + Closeouts", but this one actually is new and not scratched and damaged.

Sorry, but I hate when sellers pull crap like this and waste my time. If you're gonna pull a bait and switch go over to Ebay. Amazon's return policy and handling of returns is awesome!

The cap catcher I now have from KegWorks is awesome. It is solid and heavy duty and looks great. It comes with screws, but they were too short for my use, less than an inch. It's thick, heavy and sturdy. Zero complaints....Just make sure who you buy it from.

This was a gift to my brother-in-law and he thought it was awesome. The catch is great and it is very sturdy. He wants to build a bar in the basement so this gift is his motivation.

this is a receptacle for bottle caps. Unless it had a hole in the bottom, I guess it couldn't fail. It is good quality and one recomendation would be to give an instruction as to how far from the bottle opener this should be installed.

Love this bottle cap catcher. It looks great, holds a lot of caps, and after a couple of years, it is still rust free.

Great product! It catches beer caps every time, it's easy to empty, and keeps your floors (or deck) beer cap free.

This item just as advertised. Nice, solid stainless steel. Should catch the bottlecaps just fine. None will fall on the floor.

Works great with the permanent bottle opener. We followed advice from previous buyers, and installed the catcher about 4" below the opener. We recently had a patio party with 50+ people, and it caught all caps that were opened...nothing on the ground to clean up. It's a little tricky to remove the catcher to empty it, but I don't expect to have to do it often, so it's not a big deal.
