You’re not here for a long time, just a good time and Insiders’ Guides show you how. All of the detailed information you need is here about restaurants, shopping, sightseeing in summer or winter. This is a must have volume for anyone really wanting to make the most of their Munich holiday.

Beer, Bratwurst and Breze includes details of over 35 attractions for you to see as well as a flexible 7 day itinerary, details of festivals throughout the year including an overview of Oktoberfest and the Christmas Markets, over 30 recommended restaurants and places to eat, over 30 insider “top tips” and many colour photographs. The author visits Munich several times a year for over 15 years so she knows this subject well. All information has been gathered personally, not found on Wikipedia and such like, that's what makes our Insiders’ Guides unique.

More About the Author

Yvonne Salisbury was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, is married to Stephen and has two daughters. Yvonne has been visiting Germany for over 30 years but it is to Bavaria and in particular Munich that her heart belongs. She has been visiting this beautiful area with friends and family, several times a year for over 15 years.

In recent years Yvonne has created her own websites for the area and also written several guides. She was voted Simonseeks "Writer of the Month" for November 2009 and has written articles for The Munich Times and the Daily Telegraph (see link below). "My guides differ from others" says Yvonne "I have been and actually experienced what I write about, I started as a visitor myself and therefore believe I understand what the visitor needs to know. Unlike some other books and websites the information is not found on Wikipedia, I have personally gathered all this information".

"I have visited the Oktoberfest for over 15 years. It's so big, it's impossible to see it all in a single visit", says Yvonne Salisbury. "My Oktoberfest guide is ideal for first timers and lederhosen-veterans alike. Visit the site before you go, not to miss the best!"

Munich beer gardens celebrate their 200 year anniversary in 2012, so make sure you don't go to Munich this summer without your copy of Sun. Steins and Steckerlfisch - a Guide to 125 beer gardens in Munich.
