GET AT'EM!!,

If you're PC and you know it, stay at home - The Macc Lads ain't for you! However, if rancid, seedy tales of ale-supping, crack-chasing, grease-stopping and punk-rocking sound like your cup of bile, step right on up!! "Beer Sex Chips 'N' Gravy" is the ideal introduction to the deranged world of Muttley McLad and his band of sweaty perverts. Random abuse, pointless spite, rank ignorance, unbelievable hilarity and THE MOST STORMING PUNK ROCK YOU'LL EVER HEAR!!! BUY THIS CD!!!

These albums sound great remastered. The only problem I have is that Anagram decided to tone down the liner notes and change some of the words. I guess they have to try and appeal to the limpwristed lefty punk crowd who might happen to buy this. If you are an easily offended, PC college opinionated nerd punk, then you might wanna just stick with your Leftover Crack or Anti-Flag or silly Business or Cocksparrer "streetpunk". The Macc Lads are not for you. Go back to your cardboard box in front of your parents mansion with your $2000 laptop and pretend like you are squatting...This music is for people with problems and it is great!!!!!!!!!!

One of the best albums from Beer to Eternity...,

The Macc Lads are the self-proclaimed "lewdest band in all Christdom." Well, they may be lewd, rude, sexist, alcoholic sheep shaggers who are not very fond of Germans, Frenchmen, Scotts, and pretty much anyone outside of Macclesfield, but they can write about 20 good songs for each album that they made.
Every song on this album is a classic (of sorts): each song mentions alcohol; each song mentions finding some "crack"; each song makes disparaging comments toward ethnic groups and gays. The album is soaked with toilet humour, which is thankfully hilarious, partly thanks to the aformentioned humour being drenched in Northern English colloquialisms and inside jokes. The Beater (the hypochondriac Pakistani guitarist) is not too bad of a guitarist and concocts a simple but memorable rift for each song and every now and then pulls out a little guitar solo. Stez Styx is not the best drummer, but apparently he bashes his fair share of poofs. And Mutley McLard is one of the most memorable vocalists in all of punk rock... apparently he was able to take a few beer bottles to his head and finish a show. So what does this album teach you? Bitter ale makes you a success with girls. Halves of lager is a foreign soda that only women and children should drink. London has no gravy at the chippy. Charlotte is the biggest slag in Macc. Anyone can shag Baggy Anne. Chips and gravy are amazing (this album actually inspired me to eat them and believe me, they are as amazing as the lads claim that they are). Buy this album if you like songs about finding loose women and drinking beer. There is no innuendo in this album. It is all right out there and well, it's great.

This is a 'punk' LP but I love it and I am not a punk. This is one of the only humorous LP's I have heard that stands listening to more than twice. Mutley the lead singer and guitar has real talent, most of you reading this have never, and now, will never see this group live - his stage presence in the same vein of Mr. Kilmister or Mr. Vicious, nothing worries or bothers him, no arty strops , just good music and a good time. This is a strong album, not the lads first but the first commercially available. Buy it, do not let the wife find out - listen to Do you love me? and snigger to yourself - we may not say it but we think it. Do not expect to be deaf by the end of it, do not expect to suffer bad playing or forgettable riffs. Take a chance, give it a listen - if you don't like it , leave it on a bus or a train for someone with taste to make use of - it would probably be a tax right off too, probably.

Mosh B, I think the accent from my part of the world (Macclesfield) is confusing you. What Mutley is singing is "Sup up Lad, I've spilt more ale down my waistcoat than you have supped tonight!" Supped = Drank

I was introduced to the Macc lads in the mid 80's and have never looked back. They describe themselves as the 'rudest, crudest most drunkenest band in christendom' (sic) and they do not exaggerate. In concert they are terrific though one takes one's life in one's hands if venturing towards the front of the crowd. ROUGH is the best description, but entertainment the like of which is unlikley to be experienced elsewhere.

Do not think of what they are singing about, just listen and have fun like they do. The Macc Lads' music simply rolls forward, live performance must be great. Imagine a bottle of beer (or two) in your hand and several friends around you. What you miss now? The Macc Lads! Loud!

Go find a sheep you gits. This is what ale was meant to be quaffed to. By the way, I've spilt more ale down me whiskers than you've sought the night.
