This has to be the best music for putting a baby to sleep, it's slow, undulating tones is one of the best I've heard for relaxation.

This arrangement of the beautiful Ode to Joy is wonderful as soothing inspirational contemplative background music. This is a really nice CD. Ode to Joy is tamed down. It is played with a clarinet or oboe-type lead, with harp continuo and strings supporting. Ocean sounds are occasional and not too bothersome.

Moonlight Sonata has quiet ocean sounds for about 35 seconds before the music quietly begins. Here, a piano sound leads, with a string shadow.

Both are pleasant and relaxing. As relaxing as the strident Joyful chorus tune can be.

This 1995 release is the same as a 1991 release from Chakra alternative Music, Inc., of St-Laurent Quebec Canada. The 1991 release has the UPC number 7 7064-10029-2 2, and the spine indictes this is Chacra Music release CHAHD 29.

Track listingand times are the same, as are credits. The cover is off-white with a vertical pic of a country lane and fall trees placed in the left side, from bottom up to a bit beyond mid-way up the CD. Top says "Classical Inspirations" in italics, which seems like maybe the name of a series of recordings and not the title; just to the right of the top of the pic, it says "Beethoven with ocean sounds." Lower right corner of cover has the Chakra Artists lotus logo, and says "Chakra Artists" below this.
