Five Stars for Beaux Arts Trio.., June 12, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Beethoven: The Piano Trios (Audio CD)
The Beaux Arts Trio continues to be one of the best chamber music groups around. I have several recordings from them, this is my favorite. I have to say that this set may have been my most worthwhile music investment. I urge anyone who enjoys Beethoven and The Beaux Arts Trio to purchase this cd set, it is worth its weight in gold!

The Beaux Arts Trio At The Height Of Its Artistry, November 10, 2001
This review is from: Beethoven: The Piano Trios (Audio CD)
Simply the finest recordings I have heard of Beethoven's piano trios. The chemistry amongst cellist Bernard Greenhouse, pianist Menachem Pressler and violinist Isidore Cohen is the finest I've heard from any trio. These performances are replete with ample warmth and grace. Although these aren't state of the art recordings from Philips, the sound quality is excellent, even from the late 1970's analogue recordings that comprise part of this set. Anyone looking for a first rate collection of Beethoven's piano trios will not be disappointed with this splendid set.
