This delightful book was recommended by Mike Quinn, Entomologist with Texas Parks and Wildlife, in his fb notes. I ordered it immediately. It arrived within a few days. It couldn't please me more--and will delight the five-year old who rushes to my back yard to see what bugs Grandma has found in her garden. Each page of the book pictures a beautifully illustrated beetle representing the given alphabet letter. Very age-appropriate for young children. Or anyone, of any age, who is enamored of the fantastic world of beetles.

My son loves this book. It is one we read over and over. Adults will enjoy searching each page for the title of the Beatles song hidden in the wonderful illustrations.

Beetles are all over the world, are super colorful, have all kinds of different antennae, have silly names ... these are the kinds of awesome facts you learn when you read The Beetle Alphabet Book. My five year old loves the book, and wants to become a coleopterist because of it (read the book to find out what that is).

Who knew you could find a beetle for every letter of the alphabet?!? This book is awesome and will appeal to a wide age range.
